Symptoms - Swelling at the umbilicus for some time. Painful at times. Does not fully go back in even on lying down. 


Diagnosis - could be umbilical hernia


You should see your doctor who will likely order an Ultrasonogram of the abdomen and if it is confirmed you will need to see a surgeon who might request a CT scan of your abdomen and proceed to hernia repair surgery which can be done either laparoscopically or by open surgery.

 Symptoms - Lump in breast, painless, young patient, no nipple discharge Diagnosis - Possible fibroadenoma Please consult a surgeon, ideally a breast surgeon, who will examine you and order an Ultrasonogram of the breast. If a lump is found, then it could be a fibroadenoma. However you need to exclude a carcinoma, and hence a FNAC may be ordered, and if a fibroadenoma is confirmed, your doctor may decide a wait and watch policy or advise surgery to remove the lump.
